Hope Academy goes above and beyond academics. While we are a community of homeschooling families, we do not seek to isolate our students. Rather, we seek to provide intentional relationship with like-minded peers in order to form lasting friendships as they prepare to launch into adulthood.
This intentionality comes to life through our extracurricular opportunities for both a peer community and serving those around us as the hands and feet of Jesus.
Homeschooling can be a lonely road, so how wonderful is it to find a built-in community of others traveling the same path in life?
Hope Academy provides opportunities for our students to enjoy each other's company and speak into their experiences in the program.
Our students are invited to arrive on campus 30 minutes early once a week for an informal Student Leadership meeting to plan everything from fun outings and events to prayer walks together. In this aspect, our program is youth-led with guidance and support of the adult leadership and parents.
As Christ followers, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Hope Academy has partnered with our hosting church to serve meals to young Marines at Camp Pendleton, and has independently volunteered service hours at a local food pantry. We continually seek appropriate ways in which to serve those around us.Â
The second greatest commandment given to Christians is: Love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31).
Hope Academy currently offers Bible and the Four Core Academic Subjects. We offer music and physical training after classes on Tuesdays and Thursday. These are not part of your tuition, but are available to all students In the future, we hope to leverage our talented parents for workshops or classes in areas of interest to the students. This concept is still in development, and we are excited to see what our community brings to the table. Let us know what you might like to see!
