Hope Academy serves homeschooling families in Orange County, California seeking an on-campus, Christ-centered experience for their High School aged teens.
Our purpose is to provide guidance and support as parents navigate the High School years, with the goal of growing their children in the Lord while at the same time providing a quality foundational education.
Hope Academy offers a Christ-centered environment that produces well-educated young people who are equipped to be used by God, whether that be in post-secondary education, or in the marketplace.
Our program provides homeschooling families with tools and support to guide their students through the challenging High School years.
As a private, membership-based organization we are able to outline the beliefs that define our culture and ask that our members agree with them as well. Before requesting enrollment with Hope Academy, we ask that you carefully review our beliefs to ensure you can confidently agree that they also reflect the beliefs of your family. We understand that these beliefs are increasingly uncommon in American culture, so if they do not align with those of your family, please take advantage of one of the many other wonderful homeschool programs available in the area.
We believe there is only one God who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Man is sinful and therefore separated from God, who alone is holy and perfect. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin through His death on the cross. Jesus also bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven and will return one day to establish His Kingdom. Our salvation from eternal separation from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ and His provision of salvation. This salvation allows us to enter into God's family and receive eternal life. The Bible, comprised of the Old and New Testaments alone, is the inerrant and authoritative Word of God and is the supreme source of truth for the Christian faith and life.
Our parents are dedicated followers of Jesus who are called to homeschooling through High School. They are active in the Hope Academy community and volunteer the use of their gifts, passions, and experience to enhance the success of the program.
Our students are respectful, godly, and committed to developing their God-given gifts. They appreciate and embrace the responsibilities associated with homeschooling and are cooperative, community-oriented, and supportive of their peers.
Our classroom instructors are Christ-centered, passionate, and knowledgeable educators who foster a love for learning in our students. They present the curriculum with the focus on bringing subjects to life, and inspire our students to strive for excellence as they become self-governing individuals.
Our curriculum is chosen to be both academically challenging and supportive of a biblical worldview.
We expect all parents, students, classroom instructors, and staff to commit to a cooperative community in which each individual makes a positive contribution to the whole. Hope Academy reserves the right to deny or withdraw membership of any student or family in order to maintain our cooperative culture.
